Lenise Santana recently accelerated her tech journey by enjoying UX/UI Google
course at Coursera, where she have the opportunity to grow knowledge in
Figma, Equity-design and human-centric Design.
She initiate the career transition by graduating in the
SheCodes Bootcamp - Frontend Junior, where she
mastered CSS, HTML, JavaScript
React, and
responsive web development through intensive hands-on workshops. This technical
foundation now fuels her
transition from a decade of impactful and responsable work in mental health to the digital product
space. She brings
a
unique blend of
sharp organizational skills, rapid learning agility, and team collaboration refined during her
10-year
career as an
occupational therapist.
With extensive experience working with vulnerable populations, Lenise worked for 7 years with
homeless drug addicts in
"Cracolândia" - the largest open drug abuse scene in Latin America. Therefore, she brings to the
table skills such as
responsibility, holistic vision, adaptability, resilience, problem-solving, and emotional
intelligence.
When not coding or wireframing, she's embracing her digital nomad
lifestyle
or
dancing to new
rhythms—always ready to merge human-centric insights with innovative tech solutions.

Oyá Weather App
Inspired by Oyá, a divine being of the Yoruba
religion,
considered
the lady of winds and storms, her
strength
is
expressed in
weather phenomena. In this version, Oyá app shows in real time the weather forecast
for the
next
five days
anywhere in
the
world, it is responsive and was coded using React JS.
Created using Responsive mode My Dictionary
is a
word
search application that provides definitions, phonetics, examples,
synonyms and images. It integrates API, Bootstrap using React JS.
Known as the "Capital of Surfing" in Brazil,
Ubatuba was the city chosen for the Responsive Add-on workshop challenge. Made only
with
HTML,
CSS and JavaScript, the
website presents the city with a modern and fully responsive design.
The World Clocks Add was made useing only
JavaScript
and provides actual time at diverse locations around the world. Was made during the
SheCodes bootcamp and shows the abilit to cook new data. Built with HTML, CSS
and JavaScript.
